Demon Slayer Infinity Castle
On Saturday I decided to watch the new demon slayer movie. The movie was really good and actually quiet enjoyable, but I expected more than just one fight all movie. Nevertheless now I have to wait for another year or two so I can see what actually ends up happening with the story.
In terms of Japanese, I was actually shocked by how much I understood with ought reading the subtitles. Now the only problem now is I can understand what is happening, but it is very hard to contextualize what I a hear as I still see things as direct translations or direct translation to the definition. Making it very hard to put any emotions behind words or understand what they could be referring to when saying something.
I've been wanting to watch Demon Slayer for a while, so I'm glad to hear that this movie is as good as the rest of the series. It definitely feels satisfying to rely less on subtitles while watching anime, although as you said it can still be very difficult in various ways.
ReplyDeleteすごく有名なアニメですよね。でも私はまだ見たことがないから、今度見てみたいです。外国語で映画を見るのはむずかしいですね。私も英語の映画を見ている時、分からないことがよくあります。特にジョークはよく分かりません :(
ReplyDeleteI haven't watched the new movie yet, but I love Demon Slayer. The animation is so pretty and the story's great! I'm just so sad that Rengoku won't be in anymore content, as he's my favorite character 🥹.
